directions for listening?

Post  lokiperson on Sat Jul 04, 2009 10:13 am

Hello! I was wondering if anyone could give me directions to listening to the Saturday night show? I have followed link after link all the way to the radio station site. It has a bunch of different channels on the top to choose from etc... I know it is a few hours before Gillian's broadcast, but I wanted to be able to get right to it when it goes live. Im new to the radio show. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated!

Patrick

Bump....As well as being able to link to the show tonight,, was wondering if anyone could please inform me on how I might go about recording the show as it's being broadcast?

All I can say is I soooo wish I was there with you guys right now for this conference, Our lovely Extra Celestial's have been with me for the last few days, which I have to say feels wonderful Wink and now that I am
aware of who they are, they have been with me my whole life. It's just now that I am finally recognizing them. I am half tempted to hop in my truck and drive up there to be with you all..but I made a commitment to my
Friends at work to be there with them this weekend.

Oh, By the way....i'm getting this impression to tell you all to stay there till after the 7th.

Hi,

I also totally wished I was there ---- came close to enough $ but just didn't have it. Oh well...I'll come out when I can, right? Hoping not far off, too.

I wonder if anyone stayed until after the 7th, hmm...?

btw, to listen to any archived shows just go to bbs radio and you have to find the archives section, and click on subscription to pay for bbs archives, and its depending on download access time.

It's 1.95 for any show/archive download, and you get 1 day to download them [however many], or 6.95 for up to a month downloading access. I got a few archives of as you wish [and channel U].

happy downloading Smile

I didn't see any ships from my backyard deck [we have a little larger of a suburban backyard here, but not that big really]. I did see what looked like a satellite though...I dont know if they like coming to NJ much Laughing but who knows.

Link for Listening To As You Wish

In terms of recording the radio feed, you could get a tape recorder and listen to the show while recording. A lot of these recorders have a USB plug-in that you can connect into your computer to save the file. I don't think BBS allows file transfers directly from their site as James has to pay for the show and the radio station ultimately belongs to BBS. However, I do beleive though that you can pay to download the show and get access to the archives. You have to contact BBS. Although the other option that I mentioned is the tape recorder method. Hope this helps.
